ILANA

Ilana is currently a Hospitality Consultant and Technologist with Service Physics. She has worked on a myriad of projects utilizing Lean Management, Kaizen and Agile practices. Ilana’s work spans multiple industries including: hospitality, healthcare, product development, SaaS and cannabis retail.

In the past 15 years Ilana has opened and renovated over 15 restaurants and retail locations. She has developed 12 native channel ordering apps; 1 online ordering marketplace, revamped and implemented companywide tech stacks changes and managed countless capital improvement projects. Highlights include: developing and launching WeLive, a co-living concept for WeWork and revitalizing and growing Wings Over, a 45-unit chicken wing franchise.


Prior to Service Physics, Ilana was the Director of Development and New Restaurant Opening for Wings Over, a multi-unit chicken wing QSR. Ilana led the prototype development of Wings Over 2.0- a brand relaunch- including new interior spaces, digital assets, brand positioning and real estate growth.

Ilana was the Operations and Logistic Manager involved in the launch of WeLive, a 'co-living' micro housing hospitality project by WeWork (“We Company”).

Her experience includes establishing processes, operational excellence, project management, logistics, product development, real estate selection, construction administration, app development, business & partnership development, financial modeling, market & trend analysis, menu development, and producing local & national food forums & festivals. 

Ilana is the founding partner of Corkscrew Consulting, a food, beverage and retail firm that focuses on small businesses, up-and-coming food/tech partnerships, and food systems & studies related projects. Clients include restaurants, hotels, catering companies, food halls, CPG, bakeries, food media, and culinary schools. Ilana is a classically trained chef and owner of IB Cooking, a private catering company.
